Don't you just hate it when you get a phone call right in the middle of a fight? Seriously.

Anyway, back when Zorin gave her speech about why she doesn't love Incognito, I wanted to have Helena snap Incognito out of it. You know the scenario. The hero is too shocked or depressed to fight and then one of his comrades snaps him out of it with a speech. While trying to do that scenario I ran into an obvious problem-Incognito is not a hero. At all. He's not the heroic type in the least. No matter what kind of speech I tried to write it always ended up sounding cheesy and unconvincing. So, I decided to ditch the idea and instead have the whole thing happen subtly. Helena didn't give a speech to Incognito, she yelled at him and what she said caused him to snap out of it. It was short, it was quick, it was subtle, so I went with it. However, I apparently made it too subtle, since not many readers managed to notice it. That's why I decided to have it be analyzed here by Laura and Paul.
